Babita Chand began her career at AECC Nepal as an application support officer, working on documentation before moving into direct student counselling. That grounding in the detail of what makes an application strong or vulnerable carries through into everything she does. Over 5 years, she has counselled students across USA, Australia, UK, and New Zealand, and her focus is on helping each student express their genuine story in a way that lands with admissions committees.
That means going beyond paperwork to coach students on personal statements, scholarship essays, and interviews so they present themselves authentically. One student came to her with modest grades but a strong record of community leadership. She helped reframe that profile into a scholarship application that secured both a competitive award and a USA visa. She believes that walking alongside a student through one of the most important decisions of their life is something she takes seriously every time.
Babita holds a Master of Business Studies and has 5 years of experience in international education at AECC Global. She works in Nepali, English, and Hindi.
