What are the SAT Exam Fees for Indian Students?
With a total of 149 SAT centres in the country, Indian students must confirm the date and centre where they wish to attempt the test in the upcoming weeks. This can be done by completing the registration process, which requires students to pay the SAT exam fees.
According to the official website of the College Board, the official exam administrator for SAT, the exam fees for SAT in India are US $68, with an additional US $43 charged as international fees.

Notes:
- The first 4 reports of the SAT exam are free of charge if they are ordered within 9 days of giving the test. Scores requested over these criteria will incur the additional score report fees.
- Rush reports can be received within 1 to 4 business days of taking the test (without counting the holidays and weekends) and can only be requested for scores that have already been released.
- Payment for scores received by phone call will only be accepted via credit cards at the time of the call. Scores will only be available once they have been published online.
- While older SAT scores can be accessed and sent to universities and colleges, it should be noted that SAT scores older than 5 years are considered to be less valid predictors of the academic performance of any candidate.

SAT Exam Fees for Indian Students FAQs
The SAT exam fees for Indian students are set at US $68 with an additional charge of US $43 as international fees. In other words, Indian students will be paying INR 6088.27 (standard SAT exam fees) + INR 3849.94 (international fee) when US$1 = INR 89.53. However, since currency rates are constantly changing, students must check the cost in INR at the time of registration for an accurate representation.
While Indian students qualify for the Indian Scholars Programme by the College Board, only those whose family members are below INR 15 lakhs are eligible for a fee reduction. Technically speaking, students from families whose overall family income is less than INR 8 lakhs a year can qualify for a 90% reduction in the SAT exam fees. Meanwhile, students from families with an overall family income is between INR 8 to INR 15 lakhs can receive a 50% reduction in the exam fees.
Yes, students can receive a refund after cancelling their SAT exam fees; however, a cancellation charged of US $34 is applied. Additionally, test-takers who cancel their test by Thursday, 11:59 p.m. ET. Students cancelling after this deadline will not qualify for a refund after cancellation of the test.
Yes, the College Board charges US $15 for every report requested after the first 4 initial reports, which are provided free of charge to all test-takers. Additionally, students requesting the extra SAT score reports 9 days after the test has been taken will also incur this charge.
The College Board offers test-takers the opportunity to send their scores much quicker than the regular delivery time. However, this SAT score service comes at a cost of US $31. It should be noted that the Rush Reports will only be available to students once the online reports have been released.
